In order to stay in compliance with the homeschooling laws it is important to know these requirements. They may include where you need to send your paperwork, how many hours you must spend daily on the child’s education, and/or how often a child must be tested.
To find out what your state requires, choose the state you live in from the drop down box and find links to your state’s homeschooling requirements. Links may be to your state’s Department of Education, HSLDA’s single state analysis, or a 3rd party site that clearly and concisely explains the laws for your state.
While it is legal to homeschool in every state, each state will have a set of guidelines, rules, and regulations on how parents can homeschool.
